ORIGINS:
In 1988 the first wine production took place in our winery of Pozaldez, a village located within the boundaries of “RUEDA” appellation of Origin‘s area. However, our family has a long tradition producing wine thus our grandparents and great-grandparents were long before vine growers. In the heart of the old underground cellars, they made the traditional and historical wines of the former “Tierra de Medina” (Medina’s lands) which where famed during the flourishing days of Medina del Campo Fairs.
TODAY:
The new facilities (inaugurated in 1988) led to a change in the production of the area’s traditional wines and a commitment to make modern white wines with up-to-date techniques by applying the right equipment for these processes. And we are equally concerned about a good selection of the raw material, i.e., grapes. The result of this is a fruity, lively and refreshing young wine.
To this end, we use leading-edge technology, the equipment that gently handles grapes in order to extract its juice and the control of fermentation temperatures that helps to preserve the primary aromas of the grape and the final stabilization before bottling.
